Uganda Fire!

As you may know, the Diocese of Bristol link to the Anglican Church in Uganda focuses on friendship, shared joy and mutual prayer. This Pentecost a well known Ugandan gospel choir “Uganda Fire” (or “AYF Uganda”)  will be touring the Diocese, sharing their music and stories of faith. The tour will coincide with the arrival of the Olympic Flame in the region and with the Chippenham Deanery Mission – Flame of Hope.

Celebrating Prayer in England

BRISTOL SCHOOLS COMPETITION TO CELEBRATE THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER's 350TH ANNIVERSARY

Bristol schools are invited to take part in a city-wide competition organised to mark the 350th anniversary of the Book of Common Prayer which occurs this year. The competition, Celebrating Prayer in England, is being organised by Bristol’s Diocesan Board of Education. It will be open to all children aged between five and 14 in local authority and independent schools in Bristol.
