Welcome to the new website of the Department for Children and Young People. We hope that you will find it informative, useful and easy to navigate.
This web site will be growing over the next few months to bring you new, locally written resources to help you form policies and procedures, as well as creative inspiration for worship, RE and parish work.
Meanwhile, we can recommend some excellent sites which can help you get a head start.

Our department offers training courses for people in a huge variety of roles in children's and youth work.
For school heads, teachers and governors, please see our catalogue of in-house courses you can book online.
For church leaders and volunteers, our most essential training is "The Key", and there are many other opportunities to grow your skills and meet others who serve in your ministry.
You can follow the very latest training opportunities on our news pages.
The Diocese of Bristol has relationships and partnerships with churches and schools in Uganda. In 2006 the Bristol Masindi Education Partnership was established to ‘advance the education of young people in Bristol and Masindi through school partnerships and curriculum development, particularly in relation to sustainable development, children’s’ rights and global citizenship.’
We have a growing set of resources available to people in all kinds of school, RE, worship and parish youth and children's work.
