How to make Crayon Cakes!

Posted by  Daniel Jones Last modified on Wednesday, 16 March 2011 21:25

Ever wondered what to do with all those end bits of wax crayons which are too small for anyone to use? Transform them into crayons ideal for toddler-sized hands!

First, spray a mini muffin tin with vegetable oil and fill with broken crayon pieces.

Next, melt them in an oven preheated to something low (like 110 C, 275 F or Gas Mark 3). Watch carefully and take them out as soon as they are all melted.

Then let them cool and harden then pop them out.

Now you have cool chunky crayons great for toddler hands!
